New details on Meghan Markle’s secret 3-hour visit to UK revealed for first time
Despite reports to the contrary, Meghan Markle has in fact set foot on UK soil in the past two years.
Meghan Markle ended her 20-month absence from the UK with a surprise meeting with Prince Harry in London in May, it has been revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex landed at Heathrow Airport on Thursday, May 9 after boarding a flight from Los Angeles.
Sources reveal that Meghan spent roughly three hours in Heathrow Airport’s VIP Windsor Suite before joining Prince Harry on a flight to Nigeria.
“Although it was just a short visit while she waited for Harry to join her for their flight to Nigeria, she still spent a good few hours in the VIP suite chatting with staff.”
Prince Harry revealed in the ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial last night that the behaviour of the British tabloids and security concerns are the reasons why Meghan Markle won’t return to the UK.
Speaking to Rebecca Barry, Harry raised concerns that a lone attacker could target his family – including his wife and their two children – if they were to return to the UK.
