The five guests King Charles wants to join Royal Family at Balmoral this summer
King Charles will be hoping for a big Royal Family reunion at Balmoral in August, with invitations being sent out to extended members of the family too.
The royal holiday home in Scotland will be filled with children this year, with Prince William and Princess Kate coming up with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis
Queen Camilla’s grandchildren too could receive an invite – her son Tom Parker-Bowles has a daughter called Lola and a son named Freddy, while her daughter Laura Lopes is mum to Eliza and twins Gus and Louis.
The King is especially keen for five guests in particular – his niece Zara Tindall, her husband Mike and their children Mia, Lena and Lucas to spend some time in Balmoral in spite of an unfortunate diary clash for them.
A source told Express.co.uk that Zara, a professional equestrian, has submitted an application to compete at the Wellington International Horse Trials in Hampshire, which take place on the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 24 to 26.
On that same weekend the Firm are planning on holding their annual Sunday service at Crathie Kirk close to Balmoral, but it has been speculated that the King may move the service in order to accommodate the Tindalls.
The source explained: “Charles really wants Zara and the family to join him on the last Sunday in August for the bank holiday service, but understands that her horse competitions are extremely important to her.
“Charles is hoping that they [the Tindalls] will be able to come up the week earlier to muck in with the rest of the family so that everyone can enjoy the picnics and walks planned on the estate.
