Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan sent brutal eight-word ‘rehabilitate’ warning
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were warned they need to shift their focus on their work instead of themselves in order to “rehabilitate” themselves in the eyes of the public.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines this week after they appeared on CBS’s Sunday Morning show, where they announced their new project – The Parents Network – which aims to tackle child safety online and connect families who have lost their children to suicide due to a lack of safeguarding onlin
During the interview, Meghan revealed she “only scratched the surface” of speaking about her mental health in her now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 and added she hopes “being open” about her own suicidal thoughts and “online bullying” can “save others”.
Now royal commentator Rupert Bell claims the Sussexes’s latest interview “felt like a puff” for them as he urged them to focus on their Archewell Foundation’s actual work instead of themselves.
He told TalkTV’s Peter Cardwell: “The concept of the interview was for them to promote the work of the Archewell Foundation in helping children in online spaces. At the heart of it, it was a good idea, but you can see it felt like a bit of a puff for Meghan and Harry. We should be talking about what Archewell Foundation is doing, which I think is laudable and very relevant. But at the same time, what we’ve ended up doing is talking about her.”
