Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘disaster’ Halloween phone call that exposed major secret
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were at a party when their lives changed forever, the duke revealed in his memoir.
In Spare, originally released in 2023, Harry spoke about when his relationship with Meghan, 43, was about to be revealed to the world.
Before then, the couple had been dating in secret, with the prince adamant about keeping their love life out of the papers, which he believed could have been the downfall of his past relationships.
However, his ambition to keep Meghan out of the press was over when they received a call at a Halloween party in 2016.
According to The Mirror, in the biography Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said the couple was having the “perfect” evening at a party in Soho with Princess Eugenie before they found out their lives were set to change forever.
The authors wrote: “Some four months into their relationship, they were madly in love and eager to take part in the fun of one of their favourite holidays.
