Queen Camilla stuns in unusual giraffe dress as she makes surprise visit to Wimbledon

Queen Camilla has made a surprise trip to Wimbledon today, where she chatted to former professional tennis players and some of those taking part at this year’s championships.

The Queen is re-wearing a cream-coloured Anna Valentine dress that has a stunning giraffe pattern. She first wore this dress on the King and Queen’s state visit to Kenya last year.

Upon arrival, she was introduced to individuals on the Players’ Lawn who support The Championships as well as Ball Boy, Yug, from Harris Academy Wimbledon and Ball Girl, Natalia, from Burntwood School in Wandsworth.

The trio appeared to have an animated chat, with Natalie coming across especially pleased to get the chance to meet Her Majesty.

She also stopped for a chat with Camilla, the daughter of Mexican tennis player Santiago Gonzalez. The young girl, who wore a sweet bow in her hair, smiled sweetly as the Queen spoke to her and looked at her entry badge.

The Queen then met former Professional Tennis Players, Jamie Delgado and Laura Robson.

Mr Delgado holds the all-time male record for playing in consecutive Wimbledon tournaments, playing for the 23rd time in 2014 at the age of 37. He is now a professional tennis coach and works as part of the All England Club’s player relations team.

Meanwhile Ms Robson won an Olympic silver medal with Sir Andy Murray in 2012 and now works as a broadcaster and as part of the player relations team at the All England Club.

The Queen also met Stephen Loizou, Chief Executive Officer of Jigsaw4u and Martyn Falconer, Head Gardner at the All England Club.
