In a sweet nod to her wedding reception dress, Meghan Markle opted for a classic, white, ensemble at the ESPY Awards 2024 in California.
Meghan Markle put her best fashion foot forward alongside her award-winning husband, Prince Harry, to grace the ESPY Awards in style at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on July 11.
Fans of the Duchess of Sussex could not contain their joy at seeing Meghan in a “classic” and “simple” dress, with eagle-eyed viewers noting it looked very similar to her wedding reception dress previously designed by Stella McCartney.
Meghan, 42, dressed up for the awards date night wearing a custom, floor-length, white halter gown by Oscar de la Renta (as confirmed by People Magazine), paired with black strappy sandals. She was also spotted wearing a Rodi Cassandra gold and diamond loop ring on her hand.
Styling her hair up, Meghan wore a slicked black bun, showing off a pair of square diamond earrings, which coordinated with the gown’s ivory palette.
Another fan loved her accessories: “Love this all so much, but that ring is so unique and gorgeous.”
Whereas one Fashion fan claimed: “This is beautiful, classic style and colour with hair and makeup to match a la Meghan. The sandals are gorgeous.”

Meghan’s white ESPY dress bore a resemblance to her stunning Stella McCartney reception gown, which she was seen wearing as the couple made their way to Frogmore House for their evening reception in Windsor in May 2018. The reception gown was in lily white, made of silk crepe and featured a bespoke high neck.
