The never-ending wave of gut-wrenching news has never left the golf industry, and it has struck again with a bombshell. A lot of Olympic fans do not want our beloved sport to be a part of the event. The news is hard to swallow, but the numbers don’t lie, a growing crowd of voices is demanding golf’s exit from the Olympic stage and golf’s place at the Olympics is under threat like never before.

A user named Samantha Lewis posted a fun question on her X account asking everyone what three sports would they like to eliminate from the Olympics and with what sports they would replace them. “you can remove three events from the current #OlympicGames and replace them with three other sports, activities, or physical events. what do you remove and what do you introduce?”, read the post.
