Donald Trump Rally Shooting: Bryson DeChambeau & More Left Disturbed After Apparent Assassination Attempt on Former POTUS

It has been only a few weeks since the former president, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden’s last presidential debate, where they discussed their golf handicap. As the 45th POTUS campaigned in Butler, Pennsylvania, a rather unfortunate incident occurred at the rally. A spectator, who was watching the rally from a rooftop, 125 meters away, shot at the former president and injured his right ear, as Trump shared on his social media.

The Secret Service later rushed the former POTUS off the stage and gave him immediate care. Another spokesperson shared that the 78-year-old presidential candidate was “fine” and given the necessary medical attention. In response to the attack, President Biden tweeted on X and shared that he was grateful that Trump was safe.

The aftermath of the incident resulted in a spectator at the rally losing their life. While another was seriously injured. The individual who carried out the attack on Trump was later announced to have been neutralized. The former POTUS extended his condolences to the deceased’s family and also to one who was badly injured.

As Trump has been an avid golfer as well, many in the golf world were also shaken by the news of the attack on him. Many top entities from the game of golf spoke against the violence as they hoped for his recovery.

The golf world was left speechless as headlines about Trump being hurt in Butler, Pennsylvania, made the rounds, including the two-time U.S. Open winner, Bryson DeChambeau, who also spoke against the violence and hoped for Trump’s safety. The 30-year-old was shocked by the act as he denounced it, saying, “Violence deserves no place in this world. Praying for President Trump and his family. Wishing for a speedy recovery.”

In support of Trump and hoping for his healthy recovery, Greg Norman’s son, Norman Jr., posted the blood-faced picture of the 45th POTUS from his Pennsylvania rally, right after the gunshot made contact with his ear. Trump was seen raising his hands against the attacker and indicating that he wasn’t afraid.
