Prince William proved love for brother Harry with touching Princess Charlotte message
Prince William showed his endearing love for his brother Prince Harry with a touching message shortly after Princess Charlotte was born, according to royal author Robert Jobson.
Princes William and Harry have had a turbulent relationship in recent years, but the heir to the throne shared a touching message with his brother after the birth of his second child in 2015. William made sure that his brother was gifted a photo of the newborn princess before she had even left the hospital.
William’s love for his “perfect brother” was also on clear display when he invited Harry to the christening of Prince George, when even Princess Anne didn’t make the list. The brotherly bond even extended into professional ventures in the mid-2010s.
Harry and the Cambridges launched the Heads Together campaign via their Royal Foundation in 2015, Mr Jobson wrote in his new book ‘Catherine, the Princess of Wales: The biography’. He wrote for Mail Online that Kate suggested the plan with her husband to draw attention to issues around mental health.
The bond was still strong enough in May 2018 when Harry wed Meghan Markle. But it was during this relationship that their bond would start to show signs of fracturing.
Tensions soon became clear to the British public with numerous stories being leaked to the press about the deteriorating bond between the brothers.
During an illuminating exchange at a Royal Foundation Forum event, it was impossible for the brothers to ignore their fracturing relationship. The host asked if they ever had any family agreements.
