William has had strong support from Catherine since they met at St Andrews University. Without her presence he will feel that the rug has been pulled out and he is in a tail spin.
She has been the stronger one in their relationship and without her constant presence he is floundering a bit. Their house isn’t big enough for Catherine’s mother or their nanny to stay and this will highlight their need for a larger house asap.
Speculatively speaking, I would put my money on a full hysterectomy or bladder surgery…or possibly both simultaneously.
Why would hospitalization take 2 weeks? Normally, it wouldn’t. But when you’re the future queen of England, you get “slightly” more intensive medical treatment — at least in my opinion.
A full pelvic floor lift, scar tissue removal, benign ovarian cyst removal, pelvic ablation, or any myriad of colon issues could also have warranted a 2-week hospitalization. Bladder surgery for incontinence issues is another possibility… It can take months to fully recover.
What this is NOT is neither anything related to plastic surgery or weight loss surgery. Katherine is smart, level headed, has has her family, and is fast approaching her menopausal years. A preemptive strike to remove her uterus and ovaries is not out of the question.
Why do I have any say in these speculative conditions? I’ve had surgery for all of them! Multiple times. Abdominal surgery is tough, especially if you are having a lot of muscle tissue cut through. Recovery is long and there’s always a risk of infection.
It’s important to simply support the patient and her family as you would any family member. If you are inclined to pray for her well-being and healing, I would encourage it. Prayer is one of those things that deeply personal and cathartic when you feel helpless in making a positive impact on an uncontrollable situation.
