‘One Hit Wonder’: Wyndham Clark Enrages Bryson DeChambeau Fans With Disastrous Olympic Debut in Paris
Wyndham Clark’s Olympic dreams got off to a rough start. Fans couldn’t believe his early scores at the Le Golf National. Round one isn’t even over yet, but Bryson DeChambeau’s fans were ready to rub it in Clark’s face, saying Clark isn’t cut out for the Paris Olympics.
In a recent post by Nosferatu on X, fans could see the poor score Clark has made so far. The 2023 U.S. Open champion had a tough beginning, with two bogies and a double bogey in the first three holes. His bad luck knocked on his door when his shots on the 2nd and 3rd holes went into the water. But Clark didn’t give up. He kept trying and finally found his groove with two birdies in a row on the 9th and 10th holes. Just when things were starting to look good for the 3 time PGA Tour winner, he hit another bump with a bogey on the 12th hole.
Despite the struggles, Clark refused to quit, but bad luck followed him like dark clouds on a rainy day. And on par-4 he hit his ball into a sand trap and then far away from the greens! Clark did well on hole 14, but then made a big mistake on hole 15, hitting his ball into the water. He is currently rested at the 56th position with a bad score of 4-over 75 and is far behind the leader, Hideki Matsuyama.
