King Charles and Queen Camilla tipped to make ‘major move’ on Meghan Markle’s birthday
King Charles and Queen Camilla will send a happy birthday message to Meghan Markle this weekend despite the ongoing feud between the two camps, according to the monarch’s former butler.
The Duchess of Sussex will be celebrating her 43rd birthday on Sunday, August 4 with Prince Harry set to spoil her rotten.
Harry and Meghan have been estranged from the Royal Family ever since they unleased a series of scathing remarks about their life within the Firm following their sensational departure and move to the US in 2020.
Now Grant Harrold, who worked as a butler for King Charles from 2004 to 2011, claimed that the monarch and his wife will likely send a message to Meghan, either by email or post, however, there is unlikely to be any public notice made of the occasion from the royals.
“I think they will get messages from the King and the Queen, whether that be electronically or by old-fashioned mail, I still think the King and Queen will still send birthday messages.
“I don’t think that will change certainly despite everything that’s happened.”
He added that the royals will likely not issue any public statements but they could send her a gift to mark the occasion.
The former royal butler said: “I doubt there will be any public wishes made, they used to post on social media but that hasn’t happened in the past few years and I doubt that will change.
