Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hint at rising tensions with royal family in new statement
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have hinted at the state of their relationship with the royal family in their statement about the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been deeply affected by the raging California wildfires. Neighbors were welcomed into the comfort of their home while they also volunteered at the World Central Kitchen over the weekend, helping serve food and necessities.
As Montecito authorities issued warnings to prepare for possible evacuations, the couple sent out a compassionate statement, saying, “If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do.”
They continued, “And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbors to see if they need help evacuating. Some families and people have been left with nothing. Please consider donating clothing, children’s toys and clothing, and other essentials. The American Red Cross is on the ground helping those in need.”
